Over the years Compass Adventure sailing teams have been very successful. There has never been a regatta that we have attended where we have not been on the podium. We are all very proud of the fact that the current Canadian Youth and Open Champion and the bronze medal winner in the H16 North Americans is here. We continue our successes through the Academy Programs, which allow our students to experience competition at all levels. It is great to see these youngsters grow through the experience that racing in a positive environment allows.

Our very successful programs run from early April until the end of October. They give young sailors the opportunity to enroll in a suitable program that becomes “a life style”. Whether it is the part-time or full-time program, there is a level that will suit most who want to sail. Sailors as young as 7 years can be a part of this great program. Sailors learn not only the skills required to sail but also safety, weather, knots, boat care, team work and racing for those who want to compete. There are also programs that suit the individuals who perhaps want to become instructors. We are also able to offer Boat Rescue and Pleasure Craft operators Certified course. Most programs have a regatta or away camp component which is not included in the price structure as this depends on the needs of the students and proximity of the event.

Enrollment is limited so it is strongly advised that you sign up early to avoid disappointment. Please note that once enrolled there are positively no refunds on any Academy programs.
