Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Have you come across the sport of SUP and thought this might be the thing for you. Compass Adventure offers a great SUP program starting with beginner lessons, one on one privates for faster and more in-depth learning as well as group lessons for a bunch of friends or beach parties. Wether you’ve never heard of Stand Up Paddle Boarding, said “ I’m gonna try that some day “ or would like to learn more advanced skills. Now is the time to come out, have some fun and learn a great new sport. Beginner lessons start it June and run every Tuesday and Thursday 6:15 – 7:15 at the Comox Marina Park Prices below include rentals. For all other lessons & inquiries please give us a call!

Private / Group Sailing Lessons

Compass Adventure is now running private and group lessons all through out the summer. If you’ve always wanted to learn the art of sailing with out the crowd’s take a private lessons from our experienced and qualified staff who will get you sailing like a pro in no time. Got a bunch of friends and nothing to do, come out on the water and learn something new. Cat sailing is fun, easy and a great way to relax and enjoy the summer. Ultimate Beach Parties

Looking to do something new and exciting for your birthday this year? We will make your day fun and easy supplying Kayaks, tube, water trampoline and slide as well as transporting everything you want out to your own semi private beach and set up under our beach hut. If you’d like to add Cat sailing to your day of fun a boat and instructor can be provided at your request to give everyone rides around the bay and over to see the seals.

Adult Sailing Lessons

Sailing with Compass Adventure CYA certified coaches is both fun and informative. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned sailer looking to brush up on your small boat handling skills, we give you an experienced overview of sailing from all aspects. Safe boating practices, on shore and afloat, and sailing skills will give you a new perspective on sailing. Weather permitting, our coaches will ensure you have a great time flying a hull and sailing at all points of the compass. Hobie Cats are great fun!!

Adult Fun Racing Program

This program is perfect for those who have already learned the basics of sailing, whether in a catamaran or a single-hull small dinghy. Every time you sail a race course you complete every point of sail, improving your skill set in time. Effects of wind, waves and current will play a major part of the program. This year there will even be a great chance to enter a really fun event in the Valley. This will be mostly a single handed program so as to maximize your full potential as a “racer”.

Please ensure you have a complete change of clothes. Rain gear, pants and jacket are essential; if you have them, wet suits are great.
